Kirya Sharir - Information
INTRODUCTION
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of medicine that emphasizes holistic well-being and balance in the body. Kriya Sharir is the basic subject of Ayurveda for 1st B.A.M.S. students which deals with the normal function of human body and its parts. It is the subject which involves basic knowledge of Ayurveda including fundamental principles and Siddhantas as well as clinical examination of normal individual. In addition to conventional physiology, Kriya Sharir incorporates Ayurvedic principles and concepts into the study of the body’s functioning. This includes the understanding of doshas (bioenergetic principles), dhatus (tissues), and the importance of balance for health. Kriya Sharir often have practical training in diagnostic techniques- Nadi Pariksha, Prakriti Pariksha, Sarata Pariksha, Dosha, Dhatu, Mala Pariksha etc. Without understanding these concepts of Kriya Sharir, understanding pathology and diagnosis is impossible and thus studying ‘Kriya Sharir’ (Physiology) is very important for correct treatment of any disease.
AIM
To understand the Basic concepts and practical skills of Kriya sharir and Physiology for undergraduate 1st BAMS students.

- To develop the skill in students in practical aspects & develop personality as a good practitioner.
